Labour signs+hot flashes??

Hi Girls,

I was due today but still here with no pains...unfortuantely, really want baby to come out now, the only signs I have are that I'm really hot and have bad heartburn. Do you think this could be a sign of labour being imminent? Your replies would be really appreciated now as I'm sooooo exhausted from this pregnancy, I really want it over.

I had really hot flushes the day before I went into labour!!!

Wonder if your on your way by now (missed this last night).

I've been having hot flushes and night sweats for over two weeks now - due last Sunday! Afraid it doesn't particularly mean anything!

Still here sb6699, no hot flushes today I'm afraid, not even a twinge...with my dd I had contractions, a show and my waters broke all during the week before so at least I knew things were moving, I went on my due date. But this time there is nothing happening and I'm overdue. I wonder if you don't have as much warning on your second....Anyone any ideas???

Things went really quickly with my second. Went to hospital about 1/2 hour after contractions started took us another 1/2 hour to get there (hadn't had show or waters breaking) and ended up delivering in the admissions room.

With no 3 went straight to hospital at first twinge (after saga with no 2) to be told I still had some way to go so midwife left the room. At that waters broke an baby popped out to be delivered by DH. You should have seen the m/w face when DH shouted down the corridor!!!

i’m currently having hot flashes i’m 3cm dilated 75 effaced and having irregular contractions. i’m literally in so much pain
