Please read!! Sweep!

So I’m 40 weeks today & tried everything… the last thing that came to mind was a sweep… ovbiously I have to see my midwife when I’m 40+3 but I thought I’d try and see what I could feel myself… so as I did it I came to hit a large bone area… or is this the babies head? I’ve never felt this before 🙃 as I touched it my whole bump went tight. Any ideas ? Xx

I don’t think I did it right anyway but I’ve never felt anything like it Shock

Really not advised to go touching at any stage, best wait for your midwife mainly because of infection risk!

It might be the babies head I suppose. My ds had his head engaged and pressing on my bladder for weeks and weeks :)
I don’t think you’re supposed to do your own sweep though, frustrating though it is. Not long now.
