What's going on with me

Hi everyone I had my baby girl by c section on 10tg jan so 27 days ago my bleeding had got light then last 2 days I had nothing just normal discharge
Last night I had gush brown blood then red with wee tint bits of clot
Today its red but light and mostly coming out when I go to toliet and when I wipe
I having mild cramps in my back
I phoned midwives there no help said could be normal or my period and they weren't concerned unless soaking pads

I'm just so fed up and down feel like it's never ending I'm also on an antibiotic for my incision as its weeping abit
Could this really be my period if lochia only stopped or is this something worry about
Just want feel back to normal now just feel like I'm back at the start
My bf Booker us away for valentines thinking I'm going have cancel now
Anyone had this happen
If is period did anyone have it this early how long did it last

Didn't want to read and run. I dont know the answer I'm afraid. I had bleeding for about 10 weeks after DS was born which is longer than usual but I know other people who had a lot less. Talking to other mums it seems experience varies wildly. I'd say see how it goes - if you're feeling OK in yourself carry on. It doesn't sound like anything to worry about. If you start to feel tired or are losing a lot of blood it's worth contacting someone to check for anemia.
