Waters leaking??

Hi all,

39 weeks pregnant with third baby. This morning I woke up and felt something trickle on my foot. I then felt my thigh and it was wet. Smelt of nothing really. I'm pretty sure it wasn't discharge of wee. I spoke to midwife and she's told me to put pad on and monitor it. And said it could be my 'hind' waters leaking? And if it is there's no way to tell? Is this true? I've never heard of this before. I'm also worried as I have strep b & a uti atm and I am booked for my c section on Friday. But she doesn't seem worried.

Anyone had similar experience? Can they really not check if my hind waters are leaking??

I had something like that happen to me twice. Both times it was fine - but they did check. It wasn't wee or waters - something else but no idea what! Can you call the day unit at your hospital? They did a swab to be sure for me.

You probably know by now if it was your waters. It starts bit by bit and then quite a lot x and you know its them cause u cant control it
