I think baby has dropped and the bottom right side of my stomach is pulsing. Not really quickly, definitely not baby moving, doesn’t feel like hiccups but if she’s dropped would that feel different? Anybody know what this is?

My baby has been in one position for a long time and has been slowly dropped. Now she is completely down (same stage as you) She has the hiccups all the time and sometimes I can feel and see my whole stomach move and sometimes it feels like light buzzing on the left side of my belly where she has moved to. I'm absolutely sure both are hiccups and sometimes it starts with light buzzing and moves to full belly hiccups. So it does sound like you are feeling hiccups as well but you can always check with your midwife. X

I had this!! Googled and googled, went for a growth scan and he was conveniently doing it, midwife said baby was practicing breathing in the womb. It made sense as that is the exact rhythm, it’s definitely not hiccups and I had a lot of people tell me it was. I held my breath on so many occasions thinking it was my own breathing. I particularly feel it when his back is pushed against the front of my stomach.

Probably your aorta being pushed into a different space.
