Ladies! Need some advice, sorry for the TMI. I was at a wedding on Friday and due to not being able to drink the prosecco I was given lots of fresh orange 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’m now at a very constipated stage where I actually feel like a need to poo and I can feel it right there but it won’t pass. This has now made sitting down very very uncomfortable for me 😩 I’ve been given lactulose to help so not sure when that will kick in 😢 any advice would be great as it’s really affecting my day to day tasks!!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

If it's right there ready to do, you could try a glycerin suppository. You can buy them over the counter, but probably should check with your doctor first.

Invest in a squatty potty it will save you soo much discomfort in the next few months

Scoop of bi9logical washing powder, bucket of hot water. Put the lid down. Leave for an hour then flush.

Squatty potty, and lukewarm water with a squeeze of lemon always works for me
I've had major constipation issues before getting pregnant (I've IBS) and when in A&E doctor said that warm water is better for passing the intestines and softening stool quicker

Glad you're doing OK !
