PUL - No one listening to me!!

Today I went for a second private scan where nothing could be seen in the sack, so classed as a PUL. There was some confusion over dates as I went for a scan two weeks ago (with the same result) however and I am confident now that I am 7w+2 and should be seeing something.

I have my NHS midwife appointment on Tuesday and it really feels like no one is really listening to me that this doesn't feel or look like a viable pregnancy and their dates are two weeks out. I called the early pregnancy unit, they said with no signs of bleeding or pain, I have to wait for my 12-week scan before they act, however, I am not prepared to do that.

I get the vibe they are pissed off I went for a reassurance scan, but I've had miscarriages before, so this was important to me.

Is there any way around them listening to me and getting this progressed with the NHS... Could my doctor help? I feel like I am stuck in a lot of red NHS tape and it's prolonging something I already know. I can't sit like this for another month!

I'm so sorry. I'm not sure there is anything you can do, but maybe speak to your GP to see if they can intervene on your behalf.

Hey!!

Sorry you are going through this - the best advice I was given was just to go to A&E - they have to do something if you are there is what I was told.

It's awful that you are in this scenario - so sorry & hope you get some help x x

Any updates?

they Sorted things a little sooner. That pregnancy didn’t work out, but I have my 6 week old baby girl on my chest sleeping while I type. It will happen eventually
