I had this. The movements were always very muffled and I never felt very much. I therefore made frequent visits to the EPU/maternity unit to get monitored, whenever I started to panic.

Hi, please don’t worry. I am 32 weeks today with anterior placenta and still have no pattern. It does worry me a lot as I would prefer to feel him more but my midwife said it is normal. Sometimes I don’t feel him for 8-10h but most of the time he will move in the evening when I go to bed.

I have one and it depends on where she is lying how strong the kicks are (I'm 34 weeks) I felt flutters around 16 weeks but nothing NEARLY as consistent as I would have liked. Used to panic all the time and couldn't justify getting a home doppler cause with an anterior placenta it would just not be easy and cause more anxiety for me.
around 30 weeks I was really feeling her in the morning and the evening as I would be relaxed and then I was able to sort of pin down a routine.
Try not to worry too much. Babies just make up their own routine when they feel like it and they sleep 12 hours a day I was told.
Cold drink and sugary sweet will get them kicking away x

I started feeling baby properly around 22+ weeks. I don’t feel him that much throughout the day but feel him kicking & moving a lot more in the evenings. I do get strong movements and kicks. If I’m concerned I haven’t felt him for a while I get something sugary to eat or drink & lay on my side, this usually helps.
