Who knows about metformin in pregnancy

I've got pcos so was put on metformin x3 a day to induce ovulation. Got a postive test Wednesday evening and for some reason didn't take any metformin for two days. I've just taken one now but now I'm wondering is it still okay to take ? Anyone else with pcos who knows about this ? Will call the gp Monday but in the meantime would like to hear off others

It was a long time ago now, but I'm pretty sure my GP said to continue taking Metformin until I either ran out, or 12 weeks. Whichever came first.

Metformin is absolutely safe in pregnancy, it’s given to diabetics.
You need to speak to your GP though to discuss it

My endocrinologist said to keep taking metmorfin and take a blood test on 12th week, then we will decide on whether I should continue or not.

Metformin is safe in pregnancy - it doesn't pass through the placenta
