5 weeks pregnant, pain in ovary area?

When I ovulated 3 weeks ago it was very painful for some reason. I found out 9 days later I was pregnant, I’m 5 weeks tomorrow and since my ovulation Iv had pain in the same place, just mild and naggy, can last 10mins or so then it’s gone again but keeps coming and going. Had no bleeding, or severe pain. Could this be normal? Or is this a bad sign?

I had it on both sides at that point, Read that it can be in response to the changes in hormones

I had ovarian pain for several weeks into my pregnancy. It was caused by the corpus luteum.

Yes corpus luteum pain seems most likely but obviously keep an eye on it due to the small chance of an ectopic pregnancy.

I was surprised how much pain the corpus luteum caused me in my last pregnancy (I had early scans due to previous miscarriages)
