I've just turned 5 weeks pregnant, and this is my first pregnancy. Only me and my partner know and we're not telling anyone until the first scan. My mum is doing up her place at the moment and I've offered to help this weekend and she wants me to help her paint. Is this safe? I've read that it's more risky 0-12 weeks. so I'm a bit anxious. but i will also need to come up with an excuse as to why I can't help her...
