Intense lower back pain

I am currently 4+3 weeks and riddled with anxiety. I can't stop google symptoms, checking when I wipe etc. My test line is now darker than control line and CB says 2-3 weeks but still not feeling very reassured.

Earlier tonight my back started hurting on the lower left side and now it's spread across my lower back, feels just like AF is about to arrive.

I don't remember having back pain this early with my first baby. Can anyone tell me if this is a normal early pregnancy symptom or does it sound like the start of a chemical?

(I had a chemical at the start of Jan but line was very faint then just faded and my period started so this feel slightly different)

It was for me in the first few weeks and has calmed down now at ten weeks. With the subsequent pregnancies everything stretches quicker, I read that the ligaments softening can put a strain on your lower back and pelvis. I was surprised as it was so uncomfortable.

@WorriedMum13 how are things now? I've just searched for back pain on MN and came across this thread as I'm experiencing quite annoying / constant back pain - mostly central lower back for the last 2 days. I'm 5+3. Hoping it just is everything stretching. Has your resolved?

@summerlovingvibes the back pain still comes and goes, I take 2 paracetamol if it's really intense and usually that helps.

Good to hear this is "normal" then. Googling has NOT helped me to keep calm this morning!

If it helps I experienced this from about 5 weeks - 7 weeks and I'm now 18 weeks. I kept running to the loo because I was convinced AF was coming!

I had this from day 1, just on the right side. Now 22weeks and still get it most days
