Baby shower??

What do people do for baby showers??

I was thinking about a function room with some decor and maybe a meal?

Not sure, I know most people usually seem to have a garden party or have finger food.

I've no idea.

Did you have one? Or have you been to one? What was it like?

The party bit can be whatever you think the honouree would like

It's usually a tea and cakes type occasion, but it really can be anything.

You don't need games or decorations. The only thing you must have is gifts (for ''shower with gifts' as opposed to a different celebration if impending motherhood)

What do you think the honouree wouid like?

Booked a side room at a carvery/pizza place place. Made a little buffet and ordered pizzas 🙂 was February so too cold for a garden

Didn't have one but went out with close friends and family for a nice lunch, no need for gimmicky decorations or games then and I much preferred it

I just had a small get together at my house and had afternoon tea :) we got a baby shower game bundle with games like bingo, who knows mummy best etc. You can get stuff like that off eBay or Amazon. So yeah, nothing extravagant.

Didn’t have one for my children as personally, after loss, I don’t like to celebrate a baby before it’s safe arrival.

Attended one, was a tea party type thing at home with a few games.
