I'm 37 weeks tomorrow and I'm really struggling with my 19m DD. I've had PGP and awful lower back pain for months now so getting out the house is barely possible. My closet parks are up one steep hill and down another and I can barely carry myself up them let alone push a pram lol

I'm trying my hardest to keep her entertained in the house but running out of ideas as I'm just so exhausted all the time and getting no sleep. I saw from previous posts years ago people take their kids to soft play and toddler groups but I can't find any toddler groups in my area since the pandemic started and my nearest softplay is a few miles away.

Does anyone have any tips? I'd take her out for a walk or to a cafe by sadly she's never been one to sit still. She'll run a mile before I can blink and climb on everything without thinking of the consequences she's a very hyperactive child who doesn't listen and throws tantrums at the smallest things. Sitting still in her pram or in a high chair is the end of the world for her and if I let her sit in a chair beside me she runs around the cafe climbing on everything and everyone else. She's got no understanding of her surroundings unfortunately and I really think that's because of the pandemic because for the first year of her life we couldn't go out anywhere.

I don't have any friends that are mums and most people I know work full time so other than my mum she doesn't really see any one either. I'm feeling a little guilty tbh and could use some tips.

Drive to the soft play and let her have a run. You can just sit and have a cuppa. Poor love needs to burn off beans
