I don't know if I'm just worrying like usual. But I got out the shower this morning and was brushing my teeth and felt cramps in my stomach, I then passed a bowel movement and thought that was the reason for the cramps (I've been constipated whole of the pregnancy) I was then okay, I went for lunch with my friend, we did some shopping and walking around and my belly just felt tight.

I've now got into bed and my whole lower back is in agony, my stomach is a dull ache on the sides and I can only describe as period pains and I feel slightly sick. But my stomach feels like it's on and off cramping. Not in pain, I just feel uncomfortable and sicky. I know if I ring triage they'll say go up, but my partner is away on a works thing tonight 2 hours away and has the car and I'm starting to panic slightly

Do you have a friend or family meme we who could take you? I would be ringing triage.

Sadly no🥺 I have no family here. All my close family live in the south, we live up north. My partners from wales and all his family of course live in wales. It's just me and him here. All my friends have children so I wouldn't burden them at this time of time

Is your partner able to head home? Even if you don't go in until he is back I would still ring triage and see what they say. Sorry you haven't got any in person support though if you were my friend I would rather you bothered me then dealt with this on your own.

@jellybe he's heading home in the next 10 minutes, so I'm going to give it an hour and then ring triage. I'm not in pain, but I just feel a bit different than usual. Baby moving away as we speak so I'm not concerned about that aspect

That's good that baby is moving and he is heading back. Got everything crossed that things are fine.

How are you feeling @missrainbowbaby?

missrainbowbaby · 03/02/2022 15:27

@babyboybluewithnumbertwox I feel better today. Stomach still really tight, no cramps. I've just managed work but finished 3 hours early. Spoke to triage last night and they said as long as baby is moving they are happy but I'm welcome to go up. And baby is still moving her usual self

That is good they were happy and that your partner is back. I hope the cramps go away . I’m at the same stage (well 29 weeks) and feel uncomfortable at times and would always ring too with anything that feels different .
