Looking for reassurance

Longtime poster/lurker, name changed for this.

I'm 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant after MC last year.

On Sunday I had slight bleeding (only on wiping when on loo).

Sunday night I passed a clot.

I had some bleeding on Monday, again only on the tissue when wiping after the loo.

I've had mild cramps the last day or so, on and off, but no bleeding since Monday.

Spoke to midwife today and she's arranged a scan at EPU next week.

Just looking for some reassurance. Do clots always mean MC?

Hey lovely, no they don’t always mean the worst. A good friend of mine had massive bleeding and passed big clots and went on to have a her baby boy. I’ve also had bleeding and then gone on to see a healthy heart beat in a scan, so don’t lose faith yet. It must be a really worrying time for you so try to relax, I know easier said than done.

Just wondering how your getting on? I am in a similar position. Bright red bleed yesterday with small clots, then nothing. Then another larger clot with slight spotting but only upon wiping? Currently 5wks
