Hello everyone!

I’m currently 5+6 pregnant with my rainbow baby and for the past couple of days I’ve been experiencing mild period like cramps, mainly only in the afternoons/evenings. I am experiencing some constipation (sorry tmi) and do feel the cramps are a little worse after trying to go to the loo.

I know this is probably a very common asked questions but I’m just really desperate for reassurance, after having 3 miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy every little pain is enough to freak me out!

Thanks in advance Smile

Sorry I meant to have asked if anyone else had similar experiences in early pregnancy?

This is really common, it’s the uterus stretching basically. Totally normal, congrats on your pregnancy Flowers

Hi OP, I am currently 5+5 and I get this as well! Sometimes cramps last a bit longer than others but they always come and go ☺️

I've had these since 2ww and it still panics me now and I'm 15wks

4 scans later baby is doing ok which is always nerve wracking just before

For me I find it lasts 24hrs or so then I don't have any for a few days then it comes back

My first pregnancy was worst and remember always feeling something wasn't right - like I was coming on - 9m later when she was in my arms - I was so relieved!

This time around I'm trying to remember how uncomfortable at times they were

X

@strawberrysummer19 glad to know baby is doing okay!

I know what you mean, I’m booked in for an early scan at EPAC on Monday and the closer is gets the more nervous I’m feelingConfused

It’s somewhat reassuring I’m not alone with the cramps though, just need to relax and trust our bodies x
