I'll be having my first meeting with my midwife soon (at 9 weeks) so far have only met my doctor v. quickly.

Will they be doing anythig specific like tests? will they try to hear the baby's heartbeat yet?

Lots of filling out of forms - eg taking your medical history, and a general getting to know you.

9 weeks is early for heartbeat, but not impossible.
