Eptomic Pregnancy?

Hi all!

Just wanted to come here to share my experience today and ask if anyone else have ever had this happen too. I'm not trying to seek professional advice here, rather just an open discussion. I've never been pregnant before and I'm trying for my first.

I've been positive for around 2/3 weeks now. Have been trying since November as had inplant out!

Today, I woke up with extreme pain bottom left side of stomach, extreme sickness feeling. I feel like being 2/3 weeks pregnant is too early for morning sickness, and the pain was extreme.

Went to doctor they sent me to A&E as they think maybe eptomic pregnancy, they felt stomach and said feels inflamed one side. Extreme sickness feeling. Waited hours in A&E, I was extremely dehydrated, they put me in drip and anti sickness tablets and I felt a lot better. All blood tests come back normal, and pregnant. Been discharged tonight, doctor said he doesn't think it is eptomic pregnancy as pain would not of gone, and would be much much worse. I feel absolutely fine now, no pain. Weird.

Hoping scan tomorrow shows normal healthy pregnancy...

Some may say I should of stayed in hospital. Doctor did give me option, but I hate hospital and i feel fine...

Thanks peeps!
Anyone else had an eptomic pregnancy, and if you have had one, did you have similar experience? My pain was on and off for s few hours, once I had drip I'm now fine. So hoping it isn't one?

Hi. I have had an ectopic pregnancy which was only picked up 8-9 weeks so much later than you are. My pain came on suddenly and was really bad but did come in waves (seemed to be worse when I needed the toliet). My ectopic was originally missed as the doctors didn't think I was in enough pain (but I was hiding it I think). From the Friday afternoon when the pain started till having surgery 24 hours later there was always a lot of pain though.

My symptoms prior to this acute pain was spotting on and off from 5 weeks. And right sided pain which came off and on from approx 6-7 weeks (this was treated as kidney infection even though my urine dip was normal).

In terms of sickness with my non ectopic pregnancies the sickness was worse than with my ectopic from prior to missing my period.

Wishing you all the best for your scan tomorrow

I guess I'll find out tomorrow, but it's weird because it's stopped now and doctor said my bloods and pregnancy seems normal 🤔

I had an ectopic in July, but it wasn't picked up until 7 weeks and then had an operation at 8/9 weeks.
I had no pain at all.
Was bloated and had bleeding (red) and brown watery discharge every day.

Let us know how you get on 🤞🏼

I had a pregnancy of unknown location but I’m certain was in my left ovary. Started with a faint positive test, didn’t feel pregnant at all. No cramping either which is a bad sign as mild cramping is good means things are growing in the right place so I had a bad feeling it wasn’t growing, took another test a week later line was still very faint so knew my hcg was not rising well. Scan couldn’t find a baby, bloods showed hcg rising abnormally, was offered a chemo injection or key hole surgery or sit and wait to see if my body took care, it did I bled lightly and had nagging pain all day low down in left side and my pregnancy test went negative. That was it all over.
I’m now 5 weeks pregnant and have been getting achy pain low down in right side but I asked on here yesterday and people said it’s a corpus cyst and is normal so I’m happy with that. Could it be that for you but the cysts got big ?
