Urine infection before csection

Hi, can anyone help me.

I have a csection booked for Friday - but I have a very persistent urine infection, not the normal type and im on very strong antibiotics. Will they still allow my csection to go ahead?

A bit of a back story, I've had this infection for weeks. GP put me on antibiotics for 2 weeks, but turned out the antibiotics I was prescribed don't even treat the type of infection I have so I was put on an extremely strong type last Monday by my high risk consultant. I ran out of these antibiotics on Sunday and asked to see a midwife today to do another urine dip test and the infection is still there.

She wasn't sure if this meant my csection would be cancelled, but the gp that overheard the conversation said it most likely will.

My consultant last Monday said he wanted me admitted to hospital before the csection for antibiotics drip, but no one is admitting me even though I'm asking so instead they've prescribed me another weeks worth of antibiotics.

I have asked the midwife to ask her senior midwife what she thinks and she will call me back later but now I'm really starting to freak out!

Do you think they will allow me to still have the csection? I go for preop tests tomorrow!
