The word gender has been pulled away (unfortunately) from an alternative to sex. Gender is now fluid...no, I don't really get it, but if gender is based on feelings then it cannot be known at birth. Sex can though.

Nope there are over 150 genders, but only 2 sexes.

To complicate the matter further, "gender" started being used before all the recent furore as a euphemism for "sex" (because nice ladies thought that sex sounded a bit rude ).

Sorry I meant boy or girl, didn't realise it was wrong to say gender. As in when people do "gender reveals" I thought that's what it mean't xx

Well yes I mean sex of baby. I don't think we would be able to recognise the PC term of gender from a scan if there is over 150 🤦🏽‍♀️

The problem is it's also called a Gender Scan (I think) unless that's changed since I had my 2nd three years ago... not OP's fault..

Thank you, I've got more comments and debates about the term "gender" then whether people think my baby is a boy or girl which really wasn't my intention.

Always feel so sorry for the women mentioning gender and it turning into a debate on here. It's just some light hearted fun and she's excited to find out what she's having 😌 I understand it's not pc anymore but I genuinely think no harm is meant in these posts.
Going by skull shape I say baby girl 👧 my friend recently had her reveal and she's having a little girl, which I guessed by babies skull shape lol. Boys have a more square shaped forehead whereas girls are more rounded. So they say lol
