Went to A&E friday night as had been feeling very poorly, fever aching all over then saw blood in my urine twice. But no stains in knickers or anything like that.

They tested urine and said still preg but there wasn't even a trace of blood in urine which nurse said was really unusal as even two weeks after your period there is normally still a trace of blood.

Am having hcg levels checked going tonight to have more blood taken and had no more bleeding, but had terrible terrible dirreria yesterday.

Not sure how they date it but know conceived on 1st dec so guess I am 4 weeks pregnant.

Hi mower, just bumping your thread - can't help about the urine/blood thing but they usually date pregnancy from your last menstrual period (lmp) so if you are regular and have a "normal" cycle of around 28 days that would make you about 6 weeks pregnant, I would guess. They do it this way because most women know when their last period was but don't often know when they ovulated or if they conceived at the time of ovulation or a day or two after, as the egg lasts for 1-2 days. Hope everything works out alright for you and you feel better soon

That's the first day of your LMP they count it from btw

It's not normal to have a trace of blood in urine at all. What a strange thing to say.

Sorry, also meant to add that the Hcg levels should approx double every 48 hrs if you are preg regardless of the level they start from. If you are no longer preg they will start to fall.
