We got pregnant after trying for 6 years. I have had a history of miscarriages. While I am sticking to everything my MW has prescribed, I am extremely anxious and scared most of the time. Can fellow mum help me out here? A few good words would be of great help! Thanks :)

First of all, congratulations mama!! I am sorry that you had to go through such tough times. I do get anxious at times too. For me, yoga and talking to my partner helps me a lot!! Plus I track everything from my weight changes, the number of times my baby kicked, timeline, basically every single thing!!! It helps me feel like I am right on track and makes me feel calm. I hope that works for you as well.
The app that I use to track everything is the Nurturey Pink Book app (highly recommended)
Good luck!

Maybe try some meditation for relaxing there's some nice guided ones on calm and headspace. If you feel anxiety rising try breathing in for 6 seconds hold for 6 and out for 8.

I am right there with you with the anxiety. It's a horrible time, you're expected to be excited but you have experience of things going wrong so you worry it will happen again.

Yoga and mindfulness are good suggestions and I've been trying to distract myself as much as possible with films, books, animal crossing on the Switch!

Best of luck to you xx

The only thing that works for me when I'm feeling anxious about it all is distraction. Keeping busy with friends and hobbies (and work) really keeps me from ruminating. Personally tracking everything just makes more obsessive and anxious but that's just the way my mind works
