27 weeks high pulse rate! Anyone has similar problems???

I'm 27 weeks pregnant and came in for a check up and have ended up with a hospital stay. The midwife took my pulse rate and it was resting between 115-120 and at one point it went up to 130. I had to have an ecg and it was still quite high. I've got a echo tomorrow but not been told I can leave hospital until after that. I also may be having a scan to detect clots.

Babys doing fine and moving as she usually does.

Other symptoms
Headache
Breathless even when I'm laid down
Can hear heart beat so loud
Black dots in vision but this has only happened twice

Just wondering if anyone had any similar experiences?

Should also mention this is my second pregnancy and although my heart rate was high last time, it was no where as high as this. My oxygen and bp look good also.

Yes, my heart rate can be 200 in pregnancy, 160 when I'm not. For me they ruled out anything serious and clots etc. I just have tachycardia and a small hole in my heart.

If everything looks good on tests it could just be a pregnancy thing for you.

Just to add, one of the best things to do is make sure you're never dehydrated. I always stick to 2 litres of water a day minimum.
