Virtually symptomless - 5 weeks pregnant

Hi all, stressing myself out wondering whether this is 'normal' or not. Positive pregnancy test on 19/1 and thought I was around 7 weeks given last period but went for an early scan last week and they couldn't see anything so I have to go back in a few weeks time to try again. I had EWCM on 5/1 so it is possible I just ovulated last this cycle and I am more like 5 weeks now but since then I have done nothing but stress about it. I haven't really had any symptoms yet, I'm always tired anyway and I have had some tummy mild cramps but nothing else. I don't even think I'd know I was pregnant if not for the test and the absence of AF. Is this normal so early on? I've read a lot of symptoms start around 6 weeks so maybe it is but I'm just stressing everything isn't okay. Can't really do much til I go for my next scan on 17/2 I guess!

Thanks

Just wanted to reassure you this can be completely normal! I have had zero symptoms throughout the first trimester, I was so worried it meant something was wrong. I wouldn’t have known I was pregnant at all if I hadn’t have tested. I had my 12 week scan last week and baby is looking great, thankfully. So please try not to stress too much about lack of symptoms 😊

Some people have no symptoms at all. I didn't get anything til 7 weeks myself and didn't even realise I was pregnant til that point. My ovulation was apparently late so when id taken a test the previous month it was negative

Thanks both! I have been pregnant before and I'm sure I had symptoms around this time but it's so tough because I still don't exactly know how far on I am! Maybe they will come in a couple more weeks 🤞🏻 never wanted to be sick so much in my life 😂

In my last pregnancy I had no symptoms apart from sore boobs from around nine weeks, but nothing else. This time I have had bad nausea from 6 weeks, so different to last time.

My first pregnancy was almost asymptomatic, honestly were it not for the bump and occasional movement I'd have hardly noticed I was carrying a baby! I threw up once at the end of the first trimester, but otherwise felt pretty energetic, didn't need to wee a lot etc.

Second time round I felt knackered in the 4 weeks leading up to finding out I was pg and developed an awful itchy rash all over my torso in the last 6 weeks, though!

I've had a virtually symptom-free pregnancy (now 18+3) and I had all the same worries. I'm a FTM and I was waiting each week from the moment I found out to "feel pregnant" / awful and it never happened. Only in the last week do I now feel more pregnant - bump starting to show and feeling tiny little pops of the baby moving. Every pregnancy is so different, don't stress until you have a reason to and enjoy feeling good Smile

Thanks all. I have started feeling much more tired today and from last night I've been constantly hungry so I don't know! Just winding myself up 😂 next scan is on the 17th but it just feels like so long to wait to make sure everything is fine!
