Hallo, congrats on the birth of your baby girl.
I had a c section and bled on and off for 11 weeks. Like you, this was to varying degrees, mostly just when I wiped but then I'd have days without. I discussed it with my HV at 7/8 weeks and she'd said it was 'normal' to still have some bleeding. My son had a GP appt at 11 weeks and I mentioned the bleeding (I'm still thinking it's normal). GP said I likely had an infection and prescribed antibiotics. Stopped almost immediately.
If you're at all worried you could maybe chat it over with your HV?

Hiya ! I didn’t take tranexamic acid but I think normal bleeding can last 4-6 weeks. I also had a c section in November and I bled for 10 weeks after n still have occasional spotting. Mines was like u say some days not much then other days proper red blood. I think u just need to wait it out or contact ur GP If ur worried. I was mainly fed up with mine as I am still quite anaemic and don’t have the feckin blood to spare lol x

Very normal through the first couple of months. It comes and goes depending on activity levels I found.

Hello! I had this, my friend was over and I had to change pad after pad. I had no clue why it came back but it was all good. It was back to next to nothing within 2 days. I suppose it's just because it the uterus contracts back to normal slowly.

Quite normal to bleed on and off for up to 6 weeks, as long as it’s not heavy, no clots, and not offensive smelling

Somerandomgirl · 29/01/2022 14:54

I had it probably 2 months so i guess its normal...remember being so fed up wearing pads....

I presume you've checked you haven't got piles?
