Do you feel hungry - at how many weeks?

Silly really - but Im thinking that I felt a lot hungrier than this in my first 2 pregnancies. Im 22 weeks, not really feeling very hungry ie not snacking like crazy nor any cravings. Is it only later on that you start eating like a horse? I know they say that all are different. Anyway silly saturday evening thread!

I'm starving.

Have been since about 14 weeks, am now 25 weeks.

FoghornLeghorn · 29/12/2007 18:39

FWIW I'm 9 weeks and really having to force myself to eat. Not hungry at all

Brilliant! Is it your first Scorpio? I was really looking forward to eating loads over christmas but just havent had a huge hunger. Do you know whether you're carrying a boy or girl. Oh congratulations by the way.

I was too sick for much food until about 16-18 weeks, then starving for the rest of my pregnancy (absolutely ravenous from about 26 weeks onwards). But you're right - everyone is different.

scorpio1 · 29/12/2007 18:43

no, my third, fourth between us.

its a girl! our first girl!

snooks · 29/12/2007 18:44

Also 22 weeks here

Weirdly I was starving all of the time during the first 15 weeks or so when I was also nauseous all of the time..... have now settled into just normal gluttony instead of the previous excessive gluttony

snooks · 29/12/2007 18:45

Scorpio - almost snap - this is our third, also our first girl!

Oh that's fantastic Scorpio. I bet you're over the moon. I have two boys and am hoping for a girl (I didnt have scan as Ive convinced myself its another boy). I know there isnt any logic in that 'cept that if I believe its a boy there's no way that I can feel disapointed. My two boys seem definite for some reason that they're getting a brother!!

I'm 31 weeks (1st pg) and only now getting hungrier than before pg. I eat little and often (a lot of babybel cheese!). I was worried about not eating enough but LO is ok.

Fog - i wasn't hungry at 9 weeks either - and could only face cold food.

tab · 29/12/2007 18:48

Oh and congratulations to you too snooks!! Brilliant news!

Tab with ds1 I used to get up in the night and eat cereal so I know what you mean.... wonder if the hunger will increase as time goes on? S'pose every pregnancy is different though. I'm eating like a non-preg me at the mo (apart from more choc cos it's in the house at this time of year).

scorpio1 · 29/12/2007 18:49

i was convinced baby was a boy, had my boys name ready, went through ds2 baby clothes, etc etc.

Then sonographer says its a girl, and oh yes, she is! We have since had 3d scan which confirms. Took me some getting used to tbh, but dp was like a chesire cat. I am thrilled now of ourse!

snooks · 29/12/2007 18:54

Tab congratulations to you too!

I too was convinced this one was a boy for the same reasons as you. Still can't believe it's a dd! Feels bizarre to me and DH to say "she" when talking about my bump. Feels so weird that sometimes I still call her "it"

tab · 29/12/2007 18:57

Oh snooks and scorpio - Im really happy for both of you!! Dont get me wrong - buying more blue and brown will be fine but to be able to go to the pink section (ie 3/4 of the shop) would be wonderful!!
By the way Scorpio - Ive never heard of a 3d scan - is it a special one?

FrannyandZooey · 29/12/2007 19:15
