Early pregnancy positive after period like bleed?

I’ve never wrote in a forum before but I feel like my head is going to explode with all the google searching I’m doing 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

I had my period as normal this month, came the day it was due, usual flow and usual amount of days, ended last Wednesday 19/1/22. Perfect.
Yesterday 27/1/22 I went to the toilet and was greeted to light pink spotting which as the day went on turned a brown colour and lasted until this morning. My friend said to test which I thought was stupid as the last time I had unprotected sex was the 5/1/22 10 days before before my period came and haven’t had any intercourse since.
Since yesterday I’ve had 5 positive tests and a positive clear blue saying 1-2 weeks.
I’m so confused, does this sound like a chemical pregnancy? And the ‘period’ I had was the loss.
I highly doubt I could be pregnant after what seemed like a normal and usual period. Any one experienced anything similar?

Hey! If you had a chemical pregnancy you likely wouldn't get a test dark enough for a digital to say pregnant but due to the "period" bleed I'd definitely recommend speaking to your doctor so that they can check that your HCG levels are doubling as they should and to book you for an early scan and maybe do a few more tests over the next few days to see if the tests get darker/lighter! Makes sense to say bleed is caused by ovulation as days fit..happened to me some months..but makes no sense why positive pregnancy... specially this long after intercourse....did u test any other time? Could it have been missed miscarriage together with the period or what on earth.... 🙈🙈🙈🙈

If you test again in two days and the line gets darker then likely its a new pregnancy definitely worth a call to GP too! Good luck!

@Alg7892 how are you getting on? I am going through something similar. Had a period like bleed after very faint positive. but a week later showing strong positive!

@Alg7892 how did you get on in the end? I am currently going through very similar situation. Had a faint positive on Saturday one day before period was due, the next day period came as normal so I thought okay must have been a very early positive. Have tested this morning 4 days later and on day 4 of period (bleeding has pretty much stopped as it usually would have by this time in my period) and I now have a strong positive line and digital saying 'positive 1-2 weeks'.

I don't know what to think?! Going to call doctors in am to try and get a blood test! Worried that it was just very early miscarriage.

For anyone going through a similar thing, I had these same symptoms, faint positive test followed by 'period' then strong positives and digital positives for the next week 1/2 and then more bleeding ended up with an early miscarriage / chemical pregnancy yesterday at 5 weeks 2 days 😢

I had a period which was almost normal then 4ish weeks later a very light bleed (for just the one day)...Long story short, baby is now 14 weeks old
