FAINT LINE after two strong positives

Looking for some advice please.

Four days ago me and my partner received our first BFP. A few hours later, I took another one and got the same result. We were over the moon!

Yesterday, I tested positive for Covid-19 so decided to take another PT today (I am 5w pregnant today) because I had become worried.

I used the same Boots home brand that I had used for the first two results. The only difference today is that the test I had taken wasn't after my first wee in the morning. But then again, the second test I'd taken four days ago wasn't either and was still just as strong as the first.

I've had no bleeding, or cramps and my boobs are still sore.

As I had been worried about what this could mean, I immediately spoke with the early pregnancy centre and they've said not to do any more PT's and that a BFP is a BFP and not to worry.

I'm now booked in to speak to a midwife on Tuesday next week.

In the meantime, to put my woes at rest... I wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar to this before and it was a positive outcome? All of the comments I have read on here from past threads all lean towards MC or chemical.

Has anyone out there had a faint line after strong positives and it's all been fine? I would love to hear from you.

One advice...once u get a strong positive and a missed period - STOP testing. If you have no pains no bleeds no nothing just stop. Otherwise you'll wreck your nerves xx

I thought I'd just update this post incase there is anyone else out there worrying about the same thing in early pregnancy.

As I had been worried me and my partner booked an 8 week scan, we were elated to see our little cashew sized baby on the screen with a racing and strong heartbeat. We cried with tears of joy.

We then had our 12 week scan a few weeks ago... I don't want to count our chickens before they've hatched... but everything seems to be ticking along ok and as it should at this stage.

All we can hope and pray is that baby arrives safe and well in the coming months.
