Pain at 39 weeks - too long to be contractions?

I've been having what feels like an intense contraction, every couple of hours, that lasts about 15 minutes. Had anyone else experienced this and know what it could be? It is lasting too long to be a labour contraction.

The only thing I can compare the pain too is when I had a coil fitted and they measured my uterus. I'm perplexed and the midwifes don't seem interested. The only reason I'm worried is because I'm booked in for a c-section next week and don't fancy going into labour beforehand.

Thank you 😊

Sorry I don't know what it could be, but just wanted to say I'm surprised the midwives aren't showing any interest! Hope you find out soon. X

Think you should be in touch again with your midwifery team
