Possible preterm labour-

Been admitted tonight after having swabs taken to see if I could go into labour. Called fibronectin test. My chance came back at 8%. Just wondered if anyone else had ever had this test with a similar percentage and when they actually went into full labour. Been getting some contractions that the monitor has picked up
Thanks

Fingers crossed for you not being in labour. We get alerts from labour ward when there's a possible pending preterm labour, and the majority of women end up going back home rather than cracking on in labour. How early are you?

Hi thanks for replying. I’m 35 weeks. I have history of preterm labours though, earlier than this. Last time I was pregnant was 8 years ago so the test wasn’t around then

35 weeks? Fantastic to hear you've made it so far through the pregnancy that even if you did go into labour, the odds are that your baby wouldn't need much in the way of extra help. Fingers crossed for holding on a few more weeks.

Thank you @nocoolnamesleft had a scan today and baby is head down and fully engaged so I’ve stayed in again tonight.
