Just for fun !! 4 weeks 5 days and just received a 3+ on clear blue. High hcg and theory in it meaning girls?

Hello ladies just for fun

I've had really strong tests from 8dpo. I received a good strong positive 8dpo on an FRER and a 1-2 weeks indicator.
I've just received a 3+ at 4 weeks 5 days I think it would of given this yesterday tbh if I had taken my last clear blue digital as both my frer are identical from yesterday to today. I've read high hcg is a very good indicator for Girls, obviously there is a twins theory.

I'd love here peoples experiences.

Because you've done loads already. Why do you feel compelled to keep testing like that? You're pregnant - congratulations! But what are you getting from doing so many tests?

WOW !!!! And it bothers you why ? Lots of ladies like to keep testing especially if they have a history or CP or MC. It's entirely their choice. Each individual is different, and no one is right or wrong 1 test or a 100. It really isn't hurting anyone is it?

@squiff70 to be fair the thread does say "just for fun" I know some women test a lot after bfp due to anxiety but I think the OP was being lighthearted

It has been previously mentioned the twin theory 🙈 I've got a 6 week scan at the EPU because of a history of MC last one in November znd I've had early bleeding with this pregnancy. Just 14dpo light pink but they said they will check me anyway. Midwife said more than likely implantation bleeding but I've never ever ever had this before so you can imagine my panic hence tests after test after test lol. I don't have anymore left now so no more testing lol.

Well said. I did 8 tests and so far I've had 3 scans, I'm just over 7 weeks. I'm very anxious and may have another another private scan at the weekend. It makes me feel better, so I get it!

You have to do what is best for you. I this I will also pay for extra scans all being well this pregnancy progresses. If the EPU hadn't offered scan me early I know for a FACT I'd of payed for piece of mind. All the best with your pregnancy.

I got 3+ also at 4 weeks and 5 days! Only 7 weeks now so no idea what baby is, but I'm addicted to testing! Can't do it now as the tests require my urine to be diluted to show strong lines!

Had 3 miscarriages in past, two I knew because of the tests and the last one I found it through scans- I've had one scan at my EPU last week and will have another next week and then again at 10 weeks!

I'm having a girl and didn't get the 3+ until 5+2 I think! Never got a proper dark dye stealer either. Just to scupper that theory 😁

I had a very dark line immediately in my first pregnancy. It was twins early on (EPU scan at just under 6 weeks due to bleeding) but one of them didn’t develop so I just have the one DS. Then in my other pregnancy I had a strong line again to start, which grew fainter and then I had a miscarriage. But it’s all a bit hit and miss so try not to read too much into it. Good luck!

My darkest lines and highest hcg lead to ….. a boy. My first boy after 4 girls in fact :) my hcg at 12dpo was 58
14dpo was 278
16dpo was 668
I had that first response at 18dpo and the clear blue digital at 19dpo.

I had really faint lines for ages, it caused me no end of worry. In fact I was carrying not one, but two very healthy baby girls.

In my experience, I’d say the theory is nonsense!

I had a faint line at 8dpo and it was non id twin girls. I didn’t do any other tests to compare, it was a shock at my first 13 week scan.
