Oh gosh I thought I was already worried due to not having a scan yet, now we have covid in the house? We were due a scan tomorrow due to losing a few pregnancies so my mental health/ heart is a mess.

Has anyone else had covid in such early days of pregnancy?? Sad

Hello, I had covid whilst I was 5 and 6 weeks. I have also had numerous losses and spent the full 10 days worried sick. I went for a scan with EPAC after isolation and everything was fine, saw a strong heartbeat. The nurse said covid is more of an issues when you are much further along. Xx

I had the delta variant at 9 weeks (whole house got it), like the previous poster said it’s when you are in the 2nd trimester or further that it’s potentially an issue. there is no ‘good’ time to get it but if you do end up catching it the first trimester is the better time to have it. 20 weeks now and all fine. If you have been assigned your midwife give them a call and talk to them about it they will be able to talk you through it.

My daughter had it when I was 20 weeks, I certainly didn't isolate an 11 year old completely and I didn't catch it from her despite plenty of contact so you might be lucky enough not to as well .

I had it between eight and nine weeks, went for a ten week scan today and all was OK although I still won't let myself believe it.

Covid + first trimester sickness is hard though, especially with the anxiety too.
