AIBU to think we should have more baby stuff by now?

Third baby due end of March I can appreciate we're not first time parents anymore but OH is in no rush. We get our c section date beginning of March.

All we have is a few vests and baby grows! I still have the pram from DD and I picked up a cot on Facebook. Also need some drawers for baby as everything is just shuvved in a bag atm.

I'm not very mobile either so I can't just go from shop to shop with OH whenever he wants to go shopping in a few weeks time.

AIBU? Or should I just take OH relaxed approach 🤣

You still have a few months. What else do you need apart from the drawers? Surely most things can be ordered online if you aren't very mobile around the shops? Basic stuff like nappies etc can be got from the supermarket. I would make a detailed list and get those things in the time you have before baby arrives.

Besides nappy items & a carseat what else do you need?

Bouncer... er...

Write a list of what you need, show OH and order online. You can shop around for the best deals that way and take the pressure of OH having to go to the shops x

I'm due early April and we found out last week baby is big and also in position already. OH got a bit of a fright but still wasn't spurred on to help me go buy nursery furniture etc so i ordered online. It all started getting delivered this week and his excitement levels are through the roof now, he's been happily building furniture and organising all week (not like him tbh, i usually need to moan for a week first)

We literally had some vests and babygros, a sidelong cot and baby sleeping bags, sheets and a blanket or two, nappies and a changing mat, a sling and pushchair. Nothing else. No car seat as we didn’t have a car. Presents of clothes, mobiles, soft toys flooded in from birth.

You’ve got a while plus you can shop online and get next day delivery for most things! I’d probably make sure your hospital bag is ready and start adding stuff like nappies, wipes and formula if not breastfeeding to the weekly shop to build up a stash.

Do you have stuff from the other DC? It felt very weird not having to get tons of stuff ready for DC3 but actually we didn't need much at all.
