Am I having a miscarriage/eptopic?

Just under 5 weeks pregnant and woke up with stabbing pains on my lower left, feel light headed and brown when I wipe. I phoned 111 and they gave me a drs appointment over the phone who have said they'd pass me to the early pregnancy unit but they've not phoned.

Symptoms continue and now there is blood. I'm assuming it's a miscarriage :( but worry if it's an ectopic pregnancy I need to go to hospital. The pain is still there but I also pain on my left breast too.

Please help!

Can you find the number for the EPU? Call them directly, any referral from early morning should have been called by now.

Thanks @CorrBlimeyGG I phoned them went to the hospital sadly they couldn't find any HCG in my urine :( I had a positive this morning though so need to wait for bloods to come back to confirm definitively.

I know it's so early and it's common for pregnancy losses but still heartbreaking. Then I feel guilty for feeling so sad when it's this early and people lose their babies later or their children

We don't grieve for the past, but for the loss of the future you looked forward to with your child. Your feelings are completely valid.

Thanks @Jupiter92 and @CorrBlimeyGG I just feel so sad but then so guilty and silly because it was early and maybe I shouldn't have been so excited this early on anyway. We even started thinking of baby names which I know is absolutely ridiculous to do, just family is so important to DH and i and we were so happy

@LittleMrsMama please take care of yourself, that is just the worst news to get. I am so sorry for your loss. I feel like every little early thing we do (name choosing, buying maternity underwear etc) is tempting fate, but you cannot blame yourself for being excited in the moment. You are going to get that happiness back, but right now you need to focus on your own healing. Sending all the love your way x
