Cramps at 5 weeks ?

Hi, I have the exact same cramps that I have when I get my period, I have had them for about 3 weeks now, they come and go through out the day. I thought i was getting my period due to this but got a positive test. Does anyone know if this is normal and how long it lasts ?

I had this from bfp at 4 weeks and had a scan showing all is well at 7 weeks one week ago, it's much more infrequent now.

If no bleeding/pain isn't very bad then totally normal.

Thank you so much for quick reply. I'm so worried about it, I don't even know actually how far on I am due to pcos, have a scan on Friday so hoping everything is okay and cramps will stop soon

I had cramps from 4-6 weeks pregnant and all was well. Apparently it’s the egg implanting properly into the wall of your uterus.

My friend said her early pregnancy symptoms were pretty much her period symptoms.
