Is this bleeding normal

I'm 16 days postpartum and my bleeding had basically stopped for 2 days today I woke up cramps and bright red blood like first day of period
Feel do shit thought was getting back normal now feel like I'm back at the start

Anyone had this is it normal did anyones bleeding stay heavy before it stopped I csnr remember with my last pregnancy

This happened to me, I thought my bleeding had almost finished then it suddenly got heavier again. I can't remember how long it stayed heavy for but I don't think it was long before it slowed down.
Sending hugs, it was horrible when I thought it was almost over then it started up again
