I know google is not my friend here so just looking for some reassurance really from those already been/going through the same thing.

Found out I'm having twins due august 22 😊 I'm 9+3 today and from about 5-9 weeks I had really bad morning sickness which lasted almost all day.

But since Sunday I've almost gone back to normal - can eat meals properly and not throwing up anymore.

Is this something I should be worried about or mention to my GP?

I had a scan at 8 weeks and all was fine, two good heartbeats.

It starts to get better, don’t worry before you need to. Conversely, you can still have strong morning sickness after a MMC so sickness doesn’t give you any information either way.

Mine reduced a lot at exactly 10 weeks. Lucky it was a few days before Xmas so I could at least somewhat enjoy Xmas food. Everything was still OK at my 13 weeks scan so try not to worry.

@2022babyhope I posted something very similar a week or so ago as all my symptoms disappeared at 9/10 weeks. Google told me all bad news and it was a sign of a MMC, which sent me spiralling into anxiety.

I just had my 12 week scan this morning and baby is all looking good and we heard a strong heartbeat, so it’s all positive.

My midwife said it can be down to the placenta taking over and to count myself lucky as some people feel sick until 16 weeks.

I know it’s easier said than done but try to remind yourself that today you are pregnant and there’s nothing to suggest otherwise.
Also, the chances of something going wrong decrease when you see the heartbeat at 8 weeks.

Hope it all goes well and see if you can book an early scan for reassurance. ❤️

Absolutely fine.
I only had them from 7 weeks and at exactly 10 weeks they disappeared. I felt completely normal.

Placenta takes over at this stage.

Congrats Thanks

Honestly, don't let this send you into a panic. I was weirded out when my symptoms vanished literally overnight at exactly 9 weeks. I woke up the next morning having slept for 6 hours straight without once being woken desperate for a wee, sore boobs had gone and nausea had also vanished. A mini panic ensued but come the following day they were all back with a vengence.

Happened to me too and I paid for a private scan. The sonographer told me it was normal as the placenta takes over. Hope it's all ok

Thank you for all the kind words of reassurance Smile I'm going to just try and keep busy for now. I'll update on Saturday after my scan x

I had symptoms from weeks 7-9 and then by week 10 they had all disappeared, it's around the time the placenta takes over so this could be why x

@2022babyhope hope your scan goes well!

Just to say, after my symptoms disappearing quite early, they’ve come back at nearly 14 weeks! The last few days I’ve thrown up a couple of times, developed insomnia and the fatigue is back.

So things definitely come and go and return in different forms.

Just wanted to say 10 weeks scan went perfectly, two little wriggly babies with good heartbeats Smile

Thank you for everyone's reassuring words xx
