Hello! FTM here.
I was adamant about doing the Next2Me crib + cot combo, but last night we started thinking that maybe the Chicco Next2Me Forever might be a good compromise.
For those who are not familiar, it's a bed-side crib that can be turned into a cot and then a floor bed up to 4 years of age. I was thinking this would extend its life as a product, we'd have one fewer item to store and I won't need to worry about selling the next-to-me crib once baby doesn't fit in it anymore (we live in a small rental flat and are not planning on storing unnecessary baby items, even if we plan on having a second child).
I also like the idea of toddler sleeping on the floor to give them more independence but keep them safe once they are old enough, but I don't know if that's a good idea?
Would be grateful for any feedback/advice on this as there are almost no reviews online.
