I'm in a major stress and I cannot stop searching the bloody Internet!
Yesterday I went for an early private scan, I went in thinking I was 7 weeks 5 days, turns out the gestation sac is measuring at 6 weeks 2 days which I kind of get as I think I ovulated later last month. However there was a gestation sac but no yolk or feral pole. She immediately asked if I have had any bleeding pain etc, which I haven't had any just the normal early pregnancy cramp here and there but nothing to report. She then asked if I knew what ectopic pregnancy was she said it cannot be ruled out or the pregnancy might just be too early to see what they need to see.
She has referred me to EPU which I am going to call tomorrow. I'm freaking outs
She gave me a report with the information she has found stating she cannot see the baby could it be too early? And ectopic pregnancy cannot be ruled out. She also ticked ultrasound obstruction due to bowel gas. I felt like she didn't really spend much time looking. She didn't check my ovaries as they weren't visible.
When I left she said if you get pain tonight go to a&e, like I told her I haven't had pain so why would I conveniently get it after the scan. Did she just say that because she has to or does she know there is no Baby. Now any slight tug, ache, cramp I thinking it's over
