Hi all! I am 24 weeks pregnant and suffering from sore hips every night. Like a kind of cross between them going numb and being stiff. It's so uncomfortable and I wondered if anyone had any tips on how to prevent or relieve this!

I sleep with a pillow between my knees to try and align as best I can but with no luck.

Osteopath, physio, stretches.

It's PGP. I had it in last pregnancy and already getting it at 11 weeks this time around. I found having a pillow behind me and under my bump while leaning back helped take my weight off my hips and eased it a bit.

No hoovering, pushing a shopping trolley, yoga, swimming breast stroke or standing on one leg (to put trousers/socks/shoes on, not suggesting you randomly stand around on one leg 😂) - I had such bad PGP at about 25 weeks that I had multiple days a week where I couldn't stand, but this advice helped me so much that it's only happened a couple of times since and I'm 36 weeks now

Oh no I hadn't even considered the fact it could be that and looking at it a bit more online I think you're both right!!!
