How about Thai?

DillyDally · 17/11/2004 15:39

Thai red curry with coconut rice..not sure it will induce labour but will taste yummy.

bonym · 17/11/2004 16:12

Actually, curry did work for me! Two hrs (or so - 7yr ago now so can't remember exactly!) after eating it I had an upset stomach after being sat on the loo for 20 minutes, realised I was in labour - dd was born 5 hrs later!

DillyDally · 17/11/2004 16:20

Perhaps you could sprinkle raspberry leaf tea onto the curry and eat it whilst having sex.
Don't take my advice - I was induced.

babbler · 18/11/2004 10:46

I had a curry on the friday night, as well as some nookie. Had my show on the saturday, started strong braxtons on the sunday, but didn't deliver until the wednesday morning - so who knows if the curry had anything to do with it!!.Hope you don't have to wait too long.

Uwila · 18/11/2004 10:59

I drank rasberry tea, ate curry every night, and made DH have sex (against his will and mine) for two weeks. Still had to be induced at 2 weeks overdue.

The only think the curry did was make me even fatter... but it tasted good.

Homemade chili did the trick for me-labour started within hours.

Sallie · 18/11/2004 13:22

A thai meal following a christening started me off! I have to say that both times my midwives recommended a strong g&t - which made me love them lots!!! Best of luck
