Hi, my first post!

Im 21+ 2, and at my anomoly scan, i was shown to have bilateral notches, and was told to keep an eye on my blood pressure as i could be at a higher risk of preeclampsia.

This morning ive woken with very swollen sore fingers, which has coem on very suddenly. Now, Im really tempted to phone my midwife at the hospital and ask to have my BP checked, but I dont want to be making a fuss or wasting their time. SUrely im too early to be getting pre eclampsia signs?

What would you do?

Pre-eclampsia usually comes a bit later but can come on at any time. If you suddenly woke up with swollen fingers that you did not have yesterday and you are already known to be at risk, phone your midwife. Given the choice between annoying a busy midwife and discovering pre-eclampsia early i know which one i would go for!

It is normal for fingers to swell a bit, eg i am now nearly 36 weeks and have just given up the wearing of one of my rings, but it should not be very sudden.
