MISERABLE!

I'm so fed up, I'm 40 + 2 and have a horrid blocked nose so I cannot breathe out of it so I have to breathe out of my mouth, after breathing out of my mouth for about 30 seconds my mouth is really dry and my lips are chapped.

Had 30 minutes sleep and I'm so so miserable, has anyone experienced this? Typical I get a blocked nose at the end of my pregnancy when I should be sleeping and resting most! Just want to cry

Hello. I'm 37 weeks and have insomnia too. Had an hour's sleep and been up since 11 and feel miserable too! Don't have the blocked nose though. Crap isn't it? Do you manage to nap in the day?

So so draining isn't it! I was able to nap for 2 hours in the day (2-4) but every time I have tried to nap there's always been something that keeps me up such as a heavy stomach, blocked nose, too much light.. I am so fed up ready for baby to be here to hope that it cures it!!

Use a nasal spray to unblock it so you can sleep. I know they’re not advised in pregnancy but only because they can’t test most drugs on pregnant women, it won’t do any harm especially right at the end when your baby is fully formed and cooked. Honestly I would just give myself the relief at this point!

I'll go and look for one tomorrow, thank you. I've just put the new humidifier on that I bought for baby to get some moisture in the air but I don't have a clue if I've set it up properly hope this cold shifts before I have baby as don't fancy going in to hospital wearing a face mask not being able to breathe out of my nose

I’ve used one a few times in all my pregnancies with no ill effects, sometimes there’s just no other way to unblock it and it’s so miserable trying to sleep like that! I suffer with a blocked nose a lot and it’s awful in pregnancy. I just spray the smallest amount I can up there and it does the trick! Fingers crossed your baby arrives soon and the cold shifts!

Glad im not the only one to be honest am so annoyed qhen i breathe through mouth... have caught something ,probably.covid by the looks , couple of days ago my throat is killing... now am getting thr blocked nose so yea will have to do the mouth breathing can strangle someone am so fed up 😅😅😅

I tested positive this morning, had the blocked nose since Thursday and tested positive today so it's taking a few days to show I've got a humidifier and it's working well!
