Hi All!
I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant and tested positive for Covid a week ago. I'm double vaxxed and boosted and have had a relatively mild case I would say, but I'm still concerned about what effect this might have had on the placenta, specifically. All the information I can find paints a pretty grim picture of pregnancy outcomes following a Covid infection, but this focuses on those who aren't vaxxed. I'm also not sure how being vaxxed would protect the placenta if you do test positive. Am I making sense? My hospital are rubbish frankly and wouldn't offer advice so I would be so grateful if someone in the know could reassure, or point me in the direction of some good information resources? X
