Membrane sweep

I had a membrane sweep yesterday (38 weeks) and doctor said my cervix was at 1cm and very favourable.
Since then I've had intermittent cramping and irregular braxton hicks. Lost ?mucus plug this morning - clear, not bloody.

Are these good signs?

Anyone had a sweep that was successful? When did your labour start?

I had my first sweep at 40.3 and contractions started within about 4 hours!
Hope everything goes well for you

Is it your first baby @coffeewithmilk
I think it's not unusual to need more than 1 sweep if you're as early as 38 weeks, just keep doing what you can with walking and bouncing on a birthing ball, could you try expressing colostrum too?

@SouthwestSis yeah it's my first!
I've been on the ball, having baths, expressing colostrum.. kerb walking.. everything to get him moving!
I'm hoping the cramps and braxton hicks are a good sign 🤞🏻
