Sorry ... still seeking the elusive pair of a perfect fit, not too expensive black trousers! Has anyone bought from Mamas & Papas? If so, what is the quality and fit like? Have one pair on order from Seraphine but they may be too short (and awful on me!!). Tried a couple of IO pairs but not a great fit and worried they looked like expensive tracksuit bottoms!! Just want to order something to compare with those from Seraphine. TIA

Not tried M&P but I too am looking for a faithful pair of black trousers which is proving hard! Got some from a place in London sent up and they are lovely but really long so my mission this weekend is to find a pair that can be worn with flat shoes!

Was it mail-order/on-line with the London place Finallypregnant? If they have a website, would you mind giving me the URL please? It's a bad time to be looking too with all the sales starting .... grrrr! Happy hunting!

Sure,

They were from Crave. here is the website. their stuff is a bit pricey but good quality. I got a few bits for more formal work stuff that I have coming up.

Thanks FP ... have my eye on 2 pairs from Crave (just to try, mind you!) - they only have them in long in my size but maybe I'll order anyway just to try them on. Ta!

with my first pregnancy i loved the fit of jojomamanbebe and they do different lenghts which is birlliant if you're on the wide and small side of things.
this time i am slimmer (go figure) and jjmb doesnt fit as well, but i found a shop called seraphine near me and i love the fit of their trousers-they're quite low waisted so am sure i will have to buy a high waisted one when i get more pregnant but for now they are brilliant. they sell online too.
everybody raves about formes but they look horrid on me.
a friend swears by vertbaudet, and i know many who have only ever bought isabella oliver...
i think you have to try a few and be prepared to send them back if they are not great... we are all different.
good luck!

Seraphine are great Beforesunrise ... got a pair of cords & 2 tops from them and they're comfy and a super fit. Would also recommend them.

doh- perhaps if i had read your original post in its entirety rather than just the first line.... sorry, can i blame the baby brain?? anyhow, am glad the seraphine stuff fits. i am considering getting their brown cords as they just look bril (tried them on in the shop but then i decided to get jeans instead)

Just want to update folks ... the Seraphine trousers arrived this morning (wasn't that quick!). They are a fabulous fit - neat on bum and a good fit on tummy/ - only prob is I ordered regular length as long was out of stock and they're a tad short .. but long is back in today! So, heartily recommend them - they're the bootleg cut.
