Hi everyone. I'm 39, surprise pregnancy. I've got endometriosis and pcos and I'm overweight.

For the past few days I've had a pain that's hard to describe, kind of a dull ache that comes and goes on the left side near my left ovary area which I'm guessing is where the gestational sac is. I've had a scan on Monday, all OK and saw the heartbeat at 5w5d. I was told I ovulated my from my left ovary.

I'm guessing the pain is normal, it kind of feels like I need to urinate but I don't and is coming from the left. I was tested for a urine infection on Tuesday and o don't have an infection. I'm not actually going to the loo by much actually, less than before I was pregnant. The doctor was aware of these symptoms and wasn't concerned.

I don't know what is normal and what isn't and don't want to waste anyone's time by calling the gp. I guess it could just be my expanding uterus or something.

If your doctor doesn't worry then maybe you shouldn't worry either, but for being safe, I would say take notes of your symptoms just in case you need to give them to your doctor.

It's incredible that you don't want to waste people's time, but remember that it's about your health, so if the pain persist do call your gp.
