Hi all, I really hope someone can help.
3rd pregnancy and I was booked, 12 week scan and referred to consultants etc by Trust A/B (joint over two counties) I then moved home at 19 weeks and had to move GP surgeries although I only moved 5 miles away, I crossed county boundaries. To complicate matters I actually live within the city limits for Trust A but my GP surgery falls under Trust C's justification.
I've been now re-booked by a midwife in Trust C but they seem far less competent and have been told to keep all my existing appointments (obviously!) Particularly my 20 week scan as they are unable to accommodate. Fair enough, I don't mind the drive to Hospital B about 12 miles away. According to the 'care pathway' because of a previous c-section/medical history (I'm not entirely sure) I need to have extra midwife appointments? I was told my next appointment needed to be the first week of feb, by midwife at trust B. When I mentioned this to trust C's midwife at the booking telephone call she was extremely hesitant to make the appointment but said she would text with a day and time. Not heard anything and it's been a week. Also been told no one will come out to see me after the birth as I live over the county border- by less then 0.1 of a mile 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ There's been a few other issues as well and generally not feeling happy with Trust C.
How can I go back to having a midwife from trust a/b? Any help or advice how I can navigate this. Feeling really upset by it all- definitely overreacting but hormones obvi not helping!
