12 week scan at 3

So nervous anyone else having there 12 week scan today :)??

Mine is tomorrow. I'm always nervous! I'm debating whether to take a taxi as I might be too nervous to drive! I was convinced my 8 week scan would show no baby, even though I had a scan at 6 weeks. I'm slightly more relaxed about this one but only because we had to go to the emergency unit and get a scan 2 days ago for bleeding and saw a healthy baby.

Did you have an 8 week scan and see a heartbeat?

Mine is tomorrow too. I was excited about it until about a week ago, then the nerves kicked in.

I had a scan at 7+5 due to a small bleed (and having had a miscarriage previously, I assumed it was happening again) and everything was fine. Just trying to distract myself today but it's not working!

@toxitears181 Congratulations! I'm so glad it went well.

Mine was this morning and everything's fine here too! Can't believe how much detail we could see on the scan this time - little fingers and toes and all that jazz. We're both very relieved.

Congratulations OP. My scan went well too and the doctor saw a nasal bone and only 1.8mm nuchal fluid so low risk of Downs (my 12 week scan doctor happened to be a specialist. Not sure if everyone gets their results there and then). V pleased.

@CycleGirl20 that's fab. I had mine yesterday also and measuring 1.8 she didn't mention a nasal bone though but she said 50% of the downs was the bloods which I'm awaiting results on (7 days) that's good you saw a specialist Xx

@strawberrysummer19 mine said 80% is the scan and then they can be 95% sure with bloods. Funny how different it is, but at least we can both be reassured! Congrats on your scan

@CycleGirl20 oh wow really that's so reassuring- feel better as I'm really worried about the results. X
